Community Health Systems Releases 2024 Community Impact Report

FRANKLIN, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 23, 2024-- Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CYH) (“CHS”) (the “Company”) released its 2024 Community Impact Report today, highlighting the Company’s substantial efforts to deliver quality healthcare, support and strengthen its workforce, protect the environment, and provide important economic benefits for the many communities it serves. This year’s Community Impact Report features information about some of the innovative approaches CHS is deploying to achieve better patient outcomes, support clinicians, and harness data, automation, and artificial intelligence for decision support and greater efficiency. Examples include a maternal-fetal early warning system that uses AI to make childbirth safer, virtual sitting to monitor hospitalized patients at high risk of falls, remote patient monitoring for patients with chronic conditions to help keep them out of the hospital, and a partnership with Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs to help address drug shortages and the rising cost of medications used in the hospital setting.
